On our first day of Introduction to Art we created Zentangles. This is something the students will create each early out, substitute day or when they finish early. Zentangles give the students a break from their projects and helps to inspire creativity.
New supplies have been put away. Paper has been organized. Desks have been washed off. I am ready for all of you on Monday morning! Arrive ready to create! I have loads planned for this year and I am super excited to hear your ideas and to discover together how amazing art is.

I am passionate about my amazing family, art, travel, photography.
My hometown is Rochester, MN. I grew up on a hobby farm south of town. I was involved in 4-H, softball and volleyball growing up.
I now live in a small town in Northeast Iowa. I teach K-12 art part-time. Life is busy with three children under 5, teaching, a professional photography business, farm life, church activities and helping family.
